🌙 Text Me When You Can’t Sleep — I’ll Give You Better Reasons to Stay Awake 💋
The rain tapped gently on her window, matching the soft thump of her heart. Midnight thoughts and untamed feelings had her restless again. With a sigh, she unlocked her phone and sent a single message:
“Can’t sleep.”
Seconds later, his reply lit up her screen:
“Then don’t. I’ve been waiting for you.”
He was already outside—leaning against his car, soaked, smirking. She slipped into his hoodie and followed him without a word. The city was asleep, but they were wide awake—like stars refusing to dim.
They ended up at the old bookstore rooftop, the place where stories were shared, and secrets were tasted.
He pulled her close, voice husky, “Do you know why I want you awake?”
She leaned in, lips grazing his, “Why?”
“Because dreams don’t come close to what I feel when you look at me like that.”
Lightning flashed, thunder rolled—and so did their hearts, tangled in kisses that said everything their messages couldn’t.
His fingertips traced slow fire down her spine.
Her breath hitched. “What are you doing?”
He whispered, “Convincing you that sleep is highly overrated.”
The night stretched longer, hotter, sweeter. Neither asked the time. Neither cared.
Because in that moment, under stolen moonlight and mischievous touches, they both knew—
some nights aren’t meant for sleeping.
